About Us
Dr. Julie Zimmerer, the owner of the company, is a retired chiropractor, a wife, a mother of 3, and a grandmother of 2. At the age of 5, her father was paralyzed in a car accident. As the baby of the family caring for her Father was all she ever knew. As everyone grew older the family started to rely on more care. Numerous caregivers would take advantage of her family and it came to point where finding the right caregiver that they could trust was a mission. Seeing the struggle that came with trying to find a trustworthy caregiver, Julie decided to take matters into her own hands. She retired from her practice and opened up My Choice in Home & Senior Care. Starting out, She personally selected her caregivers with the mind set, would I want them to take care of my Mother and Father? The company expanded each day, and her repuation of quality care you can count on, flourished.
To this day, Julie personally performs the original assesment. She travels to each family, sitting down with them to not only get to know them, but to evaluate what type of care would be the best fit for each family. During her visit, her extensive knowledge in the industry helps you with any questions that you may have, and we personally ask you what kind of caregiver would be the best fit for you or your loved one; For each person has a different personality, and each person has different needs and wants. Not only does Julie come to your home and set up a personalized plan, she is honest with you, and is availble 24/7 for any questions, concerns, or comments during your time.

Our philisophy, "We Specialize In You!" dictates individual care plans based on your needs. We offer compassionate, personalized, and professional care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!
What Makes Our Caregivers Different?
Our Certified Companion Aides are the best - trained caregivers in the industry! They achieve their certification by a comprehensive study of in-home care and understanding aging issues followed by extensive testing to ensure competency. In addition, Spot checks are performed randomly to ensure they are kept to the highest standards in caregiving. They are also required to attend quarterly refreshment courses and in services.
Our CCAs are screened, bonded and insured. What this means to you, is dependability and our commitment to makeing a positive difference in individual's lives.
